Become a CEE Master Teacher:

Dear Teacher,

You are invited to apply to become a Master Teacher for the Council for Economic Education (CEE).

This is a great opportunity for you to share your passion when it comes to teaching about integrating economics and personal finance into the classroom. It’s also a great way to help your colleagues enhance their classroom experience and pedagogy, connect with peers and you’ll earn additional income.

Benefits of Being a CEE Master Teacher:

  • There is no out-of-pocket expense to you. Your cost is your time and energy.
  • Additional income when you begin to teach workshops and/or create lesson plan and materials for CEE
  • Designation as a “Master Teacher” by CEE
  • Certificate and pin
  • Badge for professional website
  • Recognition on the CEE’s website
  • Scholarship or stipend to attend CEE’s 56th Annual Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference in Brooklyn, NY

Prerequisites: 

  • Minimum of five years of full-time classroom instruction
  • Participated in at least 6 hours of CEE Professional Development
  • Demonstrated experience presenting at professional development workshops and conferences
